PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 herein to remove the encroachments made in Pathway classified as Government Poramboke - Santhu in Nagarakudi Village Survey No. 423/15 by the respondents 5 to 7 herein by considering the petitioner's representation dated 28.05.2025 within a stipulated time. [Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.] The Writ on hand has been instituted seeking removal of encroachment.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act was issued and after affording opportunity to the encroachers, final notice under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act was issued. Thus, the authorities will complete the enforcement action. 2/5

3.The learned Counsel for the respondents 5 to 7 would submit that they have preferred an appeal.

4.However, the enforcement action since commenced, no further orders are required and the authorities are directed to ensure that the encroachments already identified are removed as expeditiously as possible.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
