ORDER

This Writ of Mandamus has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the representation dated 29.10.2011 of the petitioner school followed by the reminder dated 09.11.2015. 2.In the representation dated 29.10.2011 of the petitioner's school addressed to the District Elementary Educational Officer, Tirunelveli District, through the Assistant Elementary Educational Officer, Ambasamudram, prior permission has been sought for to fill up one post of Headmaster and one post of Middle School Teacher in the petitioner's school. Subsequently, vide letter dated 23.08.2011 addressed to the District Elementary Educational Officer, Tirunelveli, the petitioner sought approval of appointment of one A.Selvavalli as Headmistress of the petitioner's school and thereafter, on 09.11.2015, a reminder has https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

been sent. As there was no response, the petitioner sent a representation dated 15.07.2016 to the Secretary to Government, School Education Department, Directorate of Elementary Education and the District Elementary Educational Officer, Tirunelveli. 3.In the proceedings dated 11.08.2016 of the Joint Director of Elementary Education, Chennai, addressed to the petitioner and the 1st respondent, the 1st respondent has been directed to take action on the representation of the petitioner dated 15.07.2016 subject to the rules.

4.Under such circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the representations of the petitioner dated 29.10.2011, 09.11.2015 and 15.07.2016 respectively, as per the direction issued by the Joint Director of Elementary Education, Chennai, dated 11.08.2016, and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
