O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of a Mandamus seeking a direction to the second respondent to consider an application given by the petitioner on 07.06.2023 bearing No.2023/0105/13/346914 seeking joint patta in the name of the petitioner and her son for the land in S.Nos.549/1A1A and 554/4 measuring totally 35 cents in Ambadurai Village, Authoor Taluk, Dindigul District.

2.Heard Mr.M.Viji, learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 3.The petitioner originally held a larger area of land measuring 1.41 acres. Out of the said land, the petitioner had sold 1.06 acres of land to Arulappan and has retained the reminder lands of 35 cents. The petitioner seeks that joint patta may be given for the said 35 cents. 4.A direction is given to the second respondent to examine the application of the petitioner, issue notice to the said purchaser, ensure that two lands are specifically divided in the sense that 1.05 acres on one 2/4

hand towards the purchaser and the 35 cents in the name of the petitioner and her sons and if the lands are identifiable, proceed to issue patta to the petitioner herein along with her sons. The entire exercise should be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
