PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner and his family members. For Petitioner : Mr.P.Gunasekaran For R1 to R3 : Mr.B.Thanga Aravindh Government Advocate (Crl.side) O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondent Nos.1 to3 police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner has borrowed an amount of Rs.10,00,000/- from the respondent Nos.5 and 6, who are the money lenders and in respect of the said amount, he has repaid more than Rs.24,00,000/- through bank transactions. Having not satisfied, the respondent Nos.4 to 6 have filed a complaint before the respondent No.3, wherein the petitioner has appeared and submitted all the documents.

Accordingly, the complaint given by the unofficial respondent Nos.4 to 6 was closed by the police. Now, the respondent Nos.4 and 5 have filed similar complaint before the respondent Nos.1 to 3 police, on which, the police have been asking the petitioner to appear and pay the money as the respondent Nos.5 and 6 wanted.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the dispute pending between the petitioner and the respondent Nos.5 and 6 is in respect of money transaction. Therefore, the police will complete the enquiry and dispose of the representation given by the respondent Nos.5 and 6 within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.By recording the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Petition is closed. It is needless to state that since the transaction between the petitioner and the respondent Nos.5 and 6 is purely a money transaction, the respondent Nos.1 to 3 police have no role to play.
