Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents to pay the fixed deposit made by the petitioner bearing fixed deposit account number 87537030007925 and 87537030007929 along with agreed rate of interest (i.e.) 8.75% from the date of deposit till the date of realization by considering the petitioner's representations dated 21.09.2021 and 13.07.2022 within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court. ORDER
Heard the learned counsel on either side.
2.The writ petitioner had deposited the petition mentioned amount in the fifth respondent society. The fixed deposit has since matured. However, she has not been paid back the deposit amount with interest. That led to the filing of the present writ petition.
3.The third respondent appears to have been taken charge of the affairs of the fifth respondent society. The respondents 3 and 5 are directed to return the 2/4
fixed deposit amount together with interest to the petitioner within a period of sixteen weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.The writ petition is allowed accordingly.
