O R D E R

This Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permit to the petitioner to run the spare mini bus based upon the application dated 27.06.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the Writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. Though the Writ petition is filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to give positive direction to the respondents to grant permit to the petitioner, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied if a direction issued to respondents to consider the petitioner's application dated 27.06.2016 and pass appropriate orders within a time stipulated by this Court.

4. Having regard to the limited scope of the request of the

learned counsel for the Writ petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction:- "The respondent 1 and 2 are directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 27.06.2016, and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
