ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the first respondent to pass orders on the petitioner's appeal filed as per Rule 36-C(2) of the Tamil Nadu Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1959 dated 07.05.2016.

2.Heard Mr.F.Deepak, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Mr.N.S.Karthikeyan, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.

3.According to the petitioner, the petitioner said to have filed an appeal under Rule 36-C(2) of the Tamil Nadu Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1959 dated 07.05.2016 before the first respondent which is still pending. Hence, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the appeal filed by the petitioner on 07.05.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
