The petitioner with an allegation that the respondent police is harassing him under the guise of an enquiry, despite he was enlarged on 1/4
bail by the trial Court, has approached this Court. 2.Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the respondents and submits that the petitioner has been summoned only for the purpose of examination, during the course of investigation in Crime No.294 of 2022. They are aware that this petitioner was enlarged on bail. They are not having any inclination to harass the petitioner.
3.Considering the submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. In the event, if the petitioner's presence is required for any enquiry, the respondent police is directed to summon the petitioner and enquire him, in the manner known to law. The respondent police is expected not to harass the petitioner since he has been already enlarged on bail.
