O R D E R

The criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to monitor or supervise the investigation being conducted by the second respondent with regard to the case in Crime No.167 of 2019.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a F.I.R. has been registered in Crime No.167 of 2019 for the offences under Sections 147, 294(b), 447, 323 and 506(ii) of I.P.C. But the second respondent has not conducted the investigation properly and also not arrested the accused so far. In the above circumstances, the present criminal original petition has been filed.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) on instructions 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD) No.11796 of 2019 would submit that there was a small wordy quarrel between two parties in a temple festival and now, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, the second respondent police has conducted the investigation and the final report is also ready and they will file a final report within a period of two weeks.

4. Considering the fact that the investigation is already over and the final report is also ready, the relief sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted at this stage. Hence, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
