This writ petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to give permission and protection for the smooth conduct of the "Guru Pooja" on 27.10.2016, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 21.10.2016.
2. Mr.M.P.Krishna Das, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
3.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner is the President of the Jaihindpuram Region Agamudaiyar Association and they have been conducting 'Guru Pooja' every year and this year, an application was given by the petitioner, dated 21.10.2016, to conduct the Guru Pooja on 27.10.2016, but the same has not yet been considered by the respondents. Hence, he has come forward with the present petition.
4.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. 5.Considering the facts of this case and the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.10.2016 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible. No costs.
