Respondents Prayer:- Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent herein to forthwith carry out necessary amendments to the Tamil Nadu Recognized Private Schools Regulation Rules in so far as it relates to the qualification for the post of P.G Assistant in academic subjects contained in Annexure V, IV 2. Of the said Rules by bringing it in tune with the qualification that has been prescribed for the said post of P.G Assistant in academic subjects in the Higher Secondary Schools in the State of Tamil Nadu in Annexure under Rule 7(a) II (1) of the Special Rules for the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary Educational Service by insisting for Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree in the same subject or their equivalent for appointment as PG Assistant in Academic Subjects.
