O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that based on a complaint given by the third respondent alleging that the petitioner and her husband received money from him and cheated, even without registering any complaint, the second respondent is harassing the petitioner. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that a First Information Report has been registered against the petitioner and her husband in Crime No.27 of 2019, for the offences under Sections 407 and 420 of the Indian Penal Code.

4. Considering the fact that already the First Information Report has been registered and investigation is pending against the petitioner and her husband, at this stage, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted.

5. The Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed accordingly.
