The learned counsel for the petitioner has given a letter, dated 29.11.2016, to the Registry to withdraw this writ petition, which reads as follows:- "With great respect I submit that I am the counsel on record for the subject mentioned Writ Petition filed by Elavarasu, son of Palanisamy. In pursuant to the respondent counsel's representation before this Hon'ble High Court that they were ready to appoint him on TASMAC Shop on production of Demand Draft for Rs.5,000/-, my client has given the D.D. for Rs.5,000/- to respondent on 19.11.2016 along with representation seeking appointment. My client Elavarasu also given me letter, stating aforesaid things and thereby asked me to withdraw the W.P.No.20758 of 2016 filed before this Hon'ble High Court. The aforesaid matter listed yesterday and today but not reached.

Therefore your good office may be pleased to direct the registry to post the matter tomorrow under withdrawal caption so as to enable me to withdraw the same".

He has also made an endorsement to that effect. 2.In view of the letter given and the endorsement made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed.
