PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 4th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.10.2016 and to permit the petitioner to work in her earlier working place as AAO in General Construction Circle Office, Madurai. O R D E R

Though the Writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to give positive direction to the fourth respondent, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner will be satisfied, if a direction will be issued to the fourth respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.10.2016, and pass appropriate orders on merits within a time frame stipulated by this Court. 2.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought before this Court, by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's case, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:

2.1. The fourth respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 19.10.2016, and pass appropriate order on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
