Order : This Criminal Miscellaneous Petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.S.MUTHUMALAI RAJA, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.M.VAIKKAM KARUNANITHI, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to permit the petitioner to withdraw the amount of Rs.50,000/- deposited in Crime No.268 of 2015 by him to the Judicial Magistrate, Valliyoor, Tirunelveli District, dated 18.08.2015 in receipt No.411385, pursuant to the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13545 of 2015, dated 07.08.2024.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was acquitted in all charges and hence, he may be permitted to withdraw the abovesaid amount deposited by him.

3.The above submission is admitted by the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondent police.

4.In view of the above submission, this petition is allowed and the petitioner is permitted toto withdraw the amount of Rs.50,000/- deposited by him in Crime No.268 of 2015 to the Judicial Magistrate, Valliyoor, Tirunelveli District. sd/- 31/07/2024 / TRUE COPY / /08/2024 Sub-Assistant Registrar (C.S.
