Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records relating to the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A3/4351/2015, dated 30.09.2016 on the file of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchendur in respect of the property comprised in No.344, 360/5, 354/1, 345/16, which is situated at Ammanpuram Village, Tiruchendur Taluk, Tuticorin District.

ORDER

Challenging the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Tiruchendur, dated 30.09.2016 in Na.Ka.No.A3/4351/2015, for transferring patta, the present Writ Petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that after passing the order, now the Revenue Divisional Officer directed the Tahsildar to carry out the mutation in the revenue records. According to the petitioner, it is induced to multiplicity of proceedings.

3.Admittedly, against the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, a revision is provided before the District Revenue Officer and if at all the petitioner has any grievance, the petitioner can file an appeal before the District Revenue Officer along with a petition to stay the operation of the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer.

4.In the above circumstances, the Writ Petition is not maintainable and accordingly, the same is dismissed. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to file a revision before the District Revenue Officer within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On filing such revision, the revisional authority shall consider the revision and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also dismissed.
