PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the encroachment made by the fifth respondent and many other encroachers in the NH road connecting Thiruvazhanchuzhi to Dharasuram bypass road in Survey No.1A/1, Thiruvazhanchuzhi Panchayat, Dharasuram, Kumbakonam by considering the petitioner representation dated 03.07.2022.

(Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.) After addressing a vague representation dated 03.07.2022, stating that there are encroachments in the highway between Thiruvazhanchuzhi to Dharasuram bypass road, the petitioner has filed the present public interest litigation alleging that the encroachments have been made by the fifth respondent in Subdivision No.1A1/1 in Survey No.366.

2. Learned Additional Government Pleader submitted that Survey No.366/1A1 is a patta land belonging to one Packiam, S/o.Ramasamy.

3. In such view of the matter, this writ petition is dismissed as being devoid of merits. No costs.
