Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C., praying to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life of the petitioner and also to the petitioner's property situatated in Survey Nos.149/4 and 164/2 at Kottapattu Village, Santhosh Nagar, Trichy based on the petitioner's representation, dated 08.07.2022. ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to provide adequate police protection to the life of the petitioner and also to the petitioner's property situatated in Survey Nos.149/4 and 164/2 at Kottapattu Village, Santhosh Nagar, Trichy based on the petitioner's representation, dated 08.07.2022.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that there was a dispute between the petitioner and the respondents 3 to 5 with regard to property. The petitioner gave a representation before the respondent police on 08.07.2022. But the respondent police did not take any action. Hence, he filed this petition.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that the respondent police is ready to consider the petitioner's complaint, dated 08.07.2022. 4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the petitioner's complaint dated 08.07.2022 and to take suitable action on merits within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
