ORDER
Mr.S.S.Madhavan, learned Additional Government Pleader for the first respondent and Mr.S.Manohar, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the second respondent.
2. This writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus to direct the respondents to conduct the Vaikasi festival of Arulmughu Sri Muthalamman Thirukoil situated in Virattipathu Village, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 23.05.2025.
3. The learned counsel for the respondents submits that the second respondent was appointed as a Fit Person of the Subject temple, namely, Arulmughu Sri Muthalamman Thirukoil, Virattipathu Village, Madurai West Taluk, Madurai District.

4. The learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent submits that the members of the temple has locked the temple and therefore, the festival could not be celebrated earlier. However, on 23.06.2025, the temple was taken over by the Fit Person and therefore, the temple festival will be conducted after considering the petitioner's representation. He further submits that the preparation work for the temple festival is scheduled to be commenced on 24.06.2025.
5. The statement of the learned Standing Counsel for the second respondent stands recorded.
6. Recording the above submission, the writ petition stands disposed of. In case, the second respondent apprehends that the any law and order situation, it is open to the second respondent to take the assistance to the local Police to ensure that the temple festival will be conducted in an orderly manner.
