ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, directing respondent to dispose the petitioner's Patta Revision Petition in Na.Ka.No.A5/15737/2019 pending on the file of the respondent within time frame fixed by this Court. 2.Heard Mr.T.Vadivelan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.B.Bhagawathy, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.
3.The petitioner aggrieved over the order passed by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Srirengam vide his proceedings in Na.Ka.No.m2/2966/2018 dated 16.07.2018, preferred a revision before the respondent on 05.10.2018, where, enquiry notice had been issued by the respondent on 19.06.2019 to both the petitioner as well as the private parties. However, no order seems to have been passed by the respondents. Therefore, the petitioner is before this Court.
4.I have heard the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, who would submit that, the said revision pending before the respondent would be decided, after completing the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.17319 of 2019 enquiry with the petitioner as well as the rival claimants, within a time frame.
5.Considering the said submissions made by both sides, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition, with the consent of both the parties, at the stage of admission itself, with the following direction:
"The petitioner's revision dated 05.10.2018 filed against the order of the Revenue Divisional Officer, Srirengam dated 16.07.2018 shall be decided by the respondent, after hearing both the petitioner as well as the private parties/rival claimants, after giving them an opportunity of being heard and final order shall be passed thereon, within a period of 6 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order".
With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
