For Respondent : Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :-For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.234 of 2021 on the file of the Respondent Police.

ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioners apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 323, 324 & 506(ii) of IPC, in Crime No.234 of 2021 on the file of the respondent police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that on 09.09.2021, while the defacto complainant was returning home, the accused demanded money from him. When he refused to give the amount, they attacked the defacto complainant. At that time, One Thiagarajan, who is an advocate, intervened and questioned the same, due to which, the accused attacked the above said Thiagarajan also. Hence the complaint.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is an innocent, he has not committed any offence as alleged by the prosecution, but he has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submits that the petitioners are the college students.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions, submits that the investigation is yet to be completed.

5.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the nature of allegations levelled against the petitioners and also the fact that they have demanded money and assaulted a common man, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

6. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
