Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. The petitioner's husband was employed as Assistant Manager in the respondent bank. He reached the age of superannuation on 30.06.2017. He retired from service. The pension scheme was introduced. It is stated that even a retired employee like the petitioner's husband was entitled to the benefits of the pension scheme. The petitioner's husband is said to have submitted an application for availing pension as per new regulations. Before the application could be processed, the petitioner's husband passed away. The petitioner wants the respondents to process the said 2/4

3. No exception can be taken to the said request. I consciously refrain from going into the details.

4. The respondents are directed to process the petition mentioned option form and dispose it of on merits and in accordance with law with their regulations within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
