The petitioner questions the move of the respondent Municipality in locating a public toilet near the petition-mentioned temple.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Standing counsel appearing for Karaikudi Municipality clarified that the proposed toilet will not be put up near the petition mentioned temple. It will be put up inside the bus stand. Cause of action no longer survives. The petitioner's grievance has been redressed. Nothing survives for further adjudication. This writ petition stands closed.
