ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant electricity service connection to the petitioner's agriculture land situated in Sy.No.150/3 at Singaneri Village, Nanguneri Taluk, vide his application dated 06.12.2010 under free agriculture service connection or under Revised Self Financing Scheme (RSFS) by paying
the scheme cost for a sum of Rs.10,000/- or 25,000/- or 50,000/- by fixing the seniority from 06.12.2010 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
2.The application of the petitioner dated 06.12.2010 has been returned on the ground that it does not have rubber-stamp of the Village Administrative Officer, Singaneri Village, Nanguneri Taluk. Even though it is contended by the learned counsel for the respondents that the petitioner's application does not contain the remittance of Rs.50/-, the communication of the 2nd respondent dated 07.03.2011, returning the application of the petitioner, does not refer to the same.
3.The learned counsel for the respondents would submit that if any application is submitted by the petitioner along with receipt for remittance of the necessary amount, the request of the petitioner for free agricultural service connection or revised self financing scheme by paying the scheme cost would be considered in accordance with law.
4.The above submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents is placed on record. It is open to the petitioner to fulfill the necessary conditions with regard to submission of application/rectify the defects, if any, in the application already filed, within a period of one month from today and thereafter, the respondents shall consider the application of the petitioner in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, if there are no legal impediments within a period of one month thereafter.
With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
