The instant Writ Petition has been filed by a Headmaster of Panchayat Union Primary School, challenging the order of transfer from Vannakudi, to Muthal Kattalai, both falling under Thiruvidaimaruthur Panchayat Union.

2. This writ petition was filed primarily on medical grounds that the petitioner was on medical leave from 04.08.2022 to 13.01.2023. On 14.01.2023, she joined in the transferred post. Thereafter, she has participated in the counselling on 04.07.2024. She was joined another School at Cholaiyappa Municipal Primary School at Kumbakonam. 2/5

3. In view of the subsequent events, no further orders are called for in the writ petition. However, the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner seeks indulgence of this Court to direct the authorities to regularise the period spent on the medical leave.

4. Considering the above said facts, the respondents authorities are directed to consider the request made by the writ petitioner for regularizing the period between 04.08.2022 and 13.01.2023 and pass orders in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
