ORDER

This Writ of Mandamus has been field seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to pass final orders within a time frame.

2.The petitioner was working as a Superintendent in the office of the District Forest Office, Dindigul; he was placed under suspension on 30.10.2014; thereafter, after attaining the age of superannuation, he was not permitted to retire; charge sheet was served upon him on 20.03.2015; enquiry report was served upon the petitioner; on the proposed punishment also, the petitioner has been called upon to offer his remarks and the petitioner has submitted his explanation to the second show cause notice on 18.07.2015.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it is the grievance of the petitioner that despite expiry of one year period after the submission of explanation, to the second show cause notice, no final order has been passed. The agony faced by the petitioner due to the protracted enquiry is put forth before this Court.

4.Under such circumstances, the 2nd respondent is directed to pass final order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The subsistence allowance due shall be paid without any further delay, in any event, within two weeks.
