Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to give permission to conduct musical program on 06.08.2019 at about 09.00 p.m., subsequent to the Aadi Festival to the Sri Selvamuthumariamman Kovil, Nambuthalai, Ramanathapuram District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2019. This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give permission to conduct musical program on 06.08.2019 at about 09.00 p.m., subsequent to the Aadi Festival to the Sri Selvamuthumariamman Kovil, Nambuthalai, Ramanathapuram District, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.07.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and police protection to conduct musical program on 06.08.2019, in connection with "Aadi Festival" of the above said temple, the petitioner has given a representation on 20.07.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
