ORDER:- This Criminal Original Petition coming on for orders on this day under the caption for Extension of time and upon perusing the order of this court dated 02/12/2020 and the requisition letter in D.No.2497/2021 dated 27/08/2021 submitted by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Thoothukudi, and in the presence of Thiru.S.Deenadhayalan, Advocate for the Petitioner, this Court made the following order:

This case has been listed today under the caption 'for extension of time' to dispose of the case in C.C.No.437 of 2018. 2.This Court already disposed of the Criminal Original Petition by order dated 02.12.2020 and directed the trial Court to dispose of the case in C.C.No.437 of 2018 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Thoothukudi, within a period of Six months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order. Now the learned Judicial Magistrate requests further time to dispose of the said case.

CRL OP(MD) No.13753 of 2020 3.Considering the reasons assigned by the learned Judicial Magistrate, this Court is inclined to grant further time and accordingly, six months time is granted for disposing C.C.No.437 of 2018 and the learned Judicial Magistrate No.IV, Thoothukudi, is directed to comply with the directions of this Court, without any further delay.
