ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed complaining that the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD)No.7435 of 2020 dated 06.01.2022 has not been complied with.

2. Today, when this contempt petition is taken up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 2 and 3 submits that the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD)No.7435 of 2020 dated 06.01.2022 has been complied with. To that effect, he has also produced a proceedings of the 2nd respondent in e/f/vz;/M1-1087-2020 dated 01.09.2025.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the retirement benefits have been provided to the petitioner, however, the 2/5

commutation amount has been paid only on 02.09.2025 and the reduced pension based on the commutation has been calculated from the date of retirement.

4. This Court considered the rival submissions made.

5. It appears that the order of this Court passed in W.P.(MD)No. 7435 of 2020 dated 06.01.2022 has been complied with by the respondents and the retirement benefits have also been disbursed to the petitioner.

6. If the petitioner is having any grievance with regard to calculation made based on the commutation, he shall workout his remedy by way of filing a separate writ petition.

7. Accordingly, this Contempt Petition is closed. 19.09.2025 ogy NCC : Yes / No.
