ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking quashment of FIR in Crime No.83 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent police. 1/4

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that it is a case and case in counter. Hence, the respondent/Law Enforcing Agency must be followed the proceedings contemplated under Section 566 (2) Tamil Nadu Police Standing Orders. Hence, this Court may issue a direction to the respondent police to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 566 (2) Tamil Nadu Police Standing Orders.

3.In view of the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court issued a direction to the respondent police to follow the procedure contemplated under Section 566 (2) Tamil Nadu Police Standing Orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
