This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide adequate police protection to the petitioner in loading and unloading the Timber from the private estates in Kanyakumari District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 13.11.2020. 2.Heard both sides.

3.It is seen that the petitioner seeking police protection in loading the Timber from private estate in Kanyakumari District. Police protection can be given only to the life and limb of the human and not to any property. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is devoid of merits and the same is dismissed. No costs.
