PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents herein to consider petitioner's representation dated 24.10.2020 and further direct the respondents 2 and 3 to appoint him on compassionate grounds.

ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.10.2020 and to direct the respondents 2 and 3 to provide a job to the petitioner on compassionate ground.

2.By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.It is the grievance of the petitioner that his father died on 17.10.1994, while he was in service. Though the 4th respondent, by proceedings dated 24.08.2018, had recommended the 3rd respondent to provide a suitable job to the petitioner on compassionate ground, so far no action has been taken, for which, the petitioner has made representations dated 13.10.2020 and 24.10.2020 to the respondents and the same is pending till today. Hence, the present writ petition.

W.P.(MD)No.17535 of 2020 4.In reply, Mr.A.Thiagarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would fairly submit that the petitioner's representations dated 13.10.2020 and 24.10.2020 would be considered on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.Recording the submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court is inclined to pass the following direction:- the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to consider the petitioner's representations dated 13.10.2020 and 24.10.2020 and pass appropriate orders, in the light of the recommendation letter made by the 4th respondent to the 3rd respondent in Na.Ka.No.2762/Aa1/2018, dated 24.08.2018, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order; 6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
