This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Additional Mahila Court, Thanjavur, to dispose of the proceedings in D.V.C.No.39 of 2021 within a time stipulated by this Court.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner is the wife. She filed a petition in D.V.C.No.39 of 2021 before the Additional Mahila Court, Thanjavur, seeking maintenance and recovery of sridhana properties. Though the case was registered in the year 2021, there was no progress in the trial. Hence, the petitioner filed this petition with the above said prayer. 3.Considering the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court issued a direction to the Additional Mahila Court, Thanjavur, to conclude the trial in D.V.C.No.39 of 2021 within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order if it is not already concluded.
