ORDER
The petitioner had applied for the post of Village Assistant to the 3rd respondent; the 3rd respondent sent a call letter dated 12.09.2016, directing the petitioner to appear for an Interview on 16.09.2016 at 11.00 a.m; but unfortunately, the call letter was served on the petitioner on 17.09.2016 and obviously, the petitioner could not attend the interview on 16.09.2016; this was brought to the knowledge of the respondents by the representation of the petitioner dated 27.09.2016; the District Collector by proceedings dated 14.10.2016 has forwarded the representation of https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
the petitioner dated 27.09.2016 to the Revenue Divisional Officer, Sivagangai, with a direction to act on those representation and to take further necessary action. As the said representation is not yet considered, this Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 3rd respondent to appoint the petitioner to the post of Village Assistant either Enathi or Ladanenthal Revenue Village at Thiruppuvanam Taluk, Sivagangai District, based on the representation dated 27.09.2016 forwarded by the 1st respondent. 2.The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that it is agreeable for the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.09.2016 in proper perspective and to pass orders within a time frame. 3.
Recording the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 27.09.2016, in the light of the communication of the District Collector dated 14.10.2016, and to pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
