widow at Natham Survey No.262/3A or any other available land situated at Akkanayakanpatti Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Thoothukudi District, by considering the representation, dated 18.01.2020 and 10.06.2025 and as per the proceedings of the 2nd respondent in Na.Ka.No.A1/533/2020, dated 13.03.2020.

ORDER
The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to issue Free House Site Patta to her in respect of the property situated in Natham Survey No.262/3A, Akkanayakanpatti Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Thoothukudi District, by considering her representations, dated 18.01.2020 and 10.06.2025.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that she is a destitute widow without any source of income. Since she has no residence of her own, she submitted various representations before the respondents from the year 2014, seeking free house site patta. The same has not been considered till date. The
last of the representations of the petitioner was submitted before the respondents on 10.06.2025, wherein she sought for issuance of free house site patta in respect of the land situated in Survey No.262/3A or any other available land situated at Akkanayakanpatti Village, Ottapidaram Taluk, Thoothukudi District. The same has not been considered. Hence, she has come before this Court.
3. The Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents, would submit that the representation submitted by the petitioner would be considered in accordance with law.
4. In view of the above, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 10.06.2025, and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. 24.06.2025 NCC :
