ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.) The prayer made in this Writ Petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to clear the encroachment in the water bodies, after surveying the exact extent of encroachment, within a time frame.

2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2 submitted that in the presence of the petitioner, a survey was conducted by the authorities concerned in the place in question, wherein, it was found that there was no encroachment as projected by the petitioner. 2/4

3.The aforesaid submission is not refuted by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4.Recording the aforesaid submission, this Writ Petition is closed leaving it open to the petitioner to approach the authorities concerned, if there is any further encroachment. No costs.
