This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to give permission and adequate police protection for conducting Adal Padal programme schedule to be held on 11.08.2019 in the eve of Arulmigu Sri Maavayalkattu Ayyanar Temple Aadi Pongal festival belongs to Keelathaniyam, Ponnamaravathi Taluk, Pudukottai District, on the basis of petitioner's representation dated 31.07.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Cultural Programme on 11.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 31.07.2019 to the second respondent and the said representation was not considered so far. W.P.(MD)No.17231 of 2019 filed for the aforesaid relief.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the second respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 31.07.2019 and pass suitable orders on merits and in accordance with law, forthwith.

5. The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
