O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner dated 11.07.2016 against the panel prepared by the second respondent, vide, Memo No.077681/502/G.3/G.3(1)/2015-6, dated 30.06.2016, as expeditiously as possible.
2.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel, who took notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal. 3.The case of the petitioner is that the petitioner joined the services of the respondent Corporation on 25.03.2009 as Field Assistant. He completed his Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in the month of April, 2011. After acquiring https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
Diploma, he was appointed as Technical Assistant on 03.04.2013 through internal selection. Presently, he is working in Meter Relay Test, Subramaniyapuram, Madurai Metro Electricity Distribution Circle, Madurai. The next promotional post is Junior Engineer Grade II (Electrical). By the proceedings dated 30.06.2016, the Technical Assistants (Electrical) detailed in Annexure I to the memo, numbering about 190 have been selected and included in the panel for promotion as Junior Engineer Grade II (Electrical) on a temporary basis under Regulation 92 of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Board Service Regulation. It is the grievance of the petitioner that though he is eligible, his name has not been included in the panel. Therefore, he preferred a statutory appeal before the first respondent. As no orders have been passed in the appeal, this writ petition has been filed.
4.The learned counsel for the respondents would submit that it is agreeable for the first respondents to pass final orders in the appeal preferred by the petitioner, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Recording the submission made by the learned counsel for the respondents, the first respondent is directed to pass final orders in the appeal preferred by the petitioner, dated 11.07.2016, within a period of two months from the date of receipt ofa copy of this order 6.With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
