Today, the matter is listed in the additional list under the caption "For Being Mentioned" at the instance of the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondent Police.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondent Police submitted that the petitioner has four previous cases. But, in the order dated 11.06.2026, this Court recorded that no previous case is pending against the petitioner. Therefore, the said error has to be corrected.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is also present.

4. Though this Court recorded that no previous case is pending against the petitioner, that alone is not a sufficient ground to grant bail to the petitioner. This Court, after considering other 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis

vsg factors, namely that the injured had been discharged from the hospital and also considering the period of incarceration undergone by the petitioner, granted bail.

5.Recording the above said fact that previous cases are pending against the petitioners in no way affects the case of the parties, as per the prosecution. Therefore, no further orders are required to be passed in this petition.
