Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader for the respondents. 2.By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3.The petitioner claims to residing in Natham poromboke land in Survey No.236/4 to an extent of 2-1/2 cents situated at Pillayar Kovil Street, Mela Mruthuvakkudi, Aduthurai, Thiruvidaimaruthur Taluk, Thanjavur District. He made a representation before the first respondent to grant patta to him. The above said application was filed on 16.10.2015 and no order https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has been passed by the first respondent so far. Hence, the petitioner has filed this Writ Petition.

4.Considering the fact that the application filed by the petitioner before the first respondent is pending from 16.10.2015, the first respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 16.10.2015 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
