ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents 1 to 6 to take action against the respondents 7 to 10 for preventing the petitioner and his family members from worshipping the Arulmigu Mariamman Temple at Perur Vilage, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District, and consequently to ensure the participation of the petitioner by collecting subscription in the temple festival. 2/5
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner has performed the inter-caste marriage. For which, the villagers, ex-communicated the petitioner's family. Thereby, the petitioner made a complaint before District Administration and Peace Committee Meeting was conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer, Musiri and permitted the petitioner to participate the temple festival of Arulmigu Mariamman Temple at Perur Vilage, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District. However, in the year 2022, without collecting taxes from the petitioner's family, the temple festival was conducted. Aggrieved against the same, the petitioner made a complaint before the Revenue Authorities and the Revenue Authorities conducted enquiry and passed appropriate orders. Aggrieved by the same, the petitioner filed this petition. 3.
The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the temple festival was conducted in the year 2022. After a lapse of 2 years, nothing survives for further adjudication. However, in future, if the village people are decided to ex-communicate the petitioner's family, this Court may permit the petitioner to work out her remedy in the manner known to law. 4.In view of the above, if the village people are decided to ex-communicate the petitioner's family, the petitioner is at liberty to workout her remedy in the manner known to law.
