Heard both sides.

2.The petitioner is a resident of Neerathanallur Village, Kumbakonam Taluk. He alleges that there are encroachments in the petition mentioned survey numbers. Seeking its removal, this writ petition has been filed.

3.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Counsel on written instructions submitted that survey was already conducted and that it has been confirmed that there are encroachments. It is undertaken that by adhering to due process of law, the encroachments will be removed within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/6

4.Recording the said undertaking, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
