O R D E R

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai to expedite the trial in C.C.No.317 of 2017.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a F.I.R. has been registered for the offences under Sections 147, 417, 420, 506(i) of I.P.C. r/w. Sections 3 and 4 of Exorbitant Interest Act. Thereafter, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai taken cognizance of the offence and the matter is pending in C.C.No.317 of 2017 for more than two years. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present criminal original petition.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that already charges were framed and the matter is posted for trial on 04.10.2019.

3. Considering the fact that already the date is fixed for trial, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Nilakottai is directed to proceed with the trial in C.C.No.317 of 2017 and complete the same within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the criminal original petition is disposed of.
