ORDER
This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking to quash Crime No. 101 of 2022 on the file of the first respondent police station, Palani.
2. It is submitted by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the police have completed the investigation and filed a charge sheet and the same was taken on file by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.1, Palani as C.C.No.131 of 2023 for the offences under Section 3(1), 4(2) (c), 5(1)(a), 7(2)(c) of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act.
3. Since the very purpose for which the petition is filed has already been defeated, the petition becomes infructuous, thereby this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However, the petitioner is given liberty to challenge the charge sheet, in case, if he is advised so. 2/4
