ORDER

This writ petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 herein not to grant permission any cultural programme in respect of Arulmigu Veerakaliamman Temple situated at Aathalur, Peravurani, Thanjavur District, on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 01.08.2022.

2.The learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the respondent police may be directed to consider the petitioner representation, dated 01.08.2022.

3.In view of the prayer sought for in this petition, this Court is of the considered opinion that granting permission or not, is the statute vested with the wisdom of the authorities to decide according to the situation prevailing there.

4.Therefore, it is inappropriate to entertain this petition. Hence, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs.
