RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT Petition filed praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the petition filed therewith the High Court may be pleased to modify the condition in 6(ii) imposed by this Honble Court on the petitioners in Crl.O.P(MD)No.9467 of 2023 dated 05.06.2023. Order : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.DURAIPANDIAN K S, Advocate for the petitioner and of MR.M.VAIKKAM KARUNANTIHI, Government Advocate (Criminal Side) on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioner in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.9467 of 2023 on 05.06.2023. 2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that since the warrant is pending against the eighth accused, the above said trial could not be commenced.

3.Now the grievance of the petitioner is that he is working as Driver and he could not able to travel for more than 240 km per day for complying the condition, which is imposed by this Court.

4. The condition in paragraph No.6(ii) of the order dated 05.06.2023 in Crl.O.P.(MD) No.9467 of 2023 is modified. The petitioner shall report before the ACJM, Special Court for Idol Theft Cases, Kumbakonam, once in a week (I.e) on every Monday at 10.30 a.m. for a period of six weeks and thereafter, as and when requires for interrogation.

5. There shall be a direction to the concerned trial Court to split up the case against the accused, whom the warrant is pending and further directed to complete the above said trial process within a period of six months thereafter.
