ORDER

This petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in proper manner in Crime No.317 of 2016, pending on the file of the respondent and file final report before the Judicial Magistrate, Cumbam, within a time frame. 2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant in Crime No.317 of 2016, which was registered for the offence punishable under Section 306 IPC. The grievance of the petitioner is that even after a lapse of five years, investigation is not yet completed. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) for the respondent submitted that the the investigation has been completed and a final report has also been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Uthamapalayam, on 06.02.2019 and it has not been taken on file till now.

4.Since the final report has been filed before the concerned Court, the prayer sought for in this petition has become infructuous. Therefore, this criminal original petition is disposed of as infructuous.
