ORDER

(This petition is heard through video conference) This petition has been filed seeking direction to the 1st respondent to instruct the 2nd respondent to conduct the speedy investigation in Crime No.220 of 2021 for the offence under Section 341, 294(b), 392, 352 and 506(ii) of IPC pending on the file of the 2nd respondent and to file the final report.

2.The petitioner is the sole accused in Crime No.220 of 2021, which was registered for the offence punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 392, 352 and 506(ii) IPC. The petitioner is involved in some other cases also. On that ground this petition is filed seeking speedy investigation.

Crl.O.P.(MD).No.14019 of 2021 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that two witnesses have been examined and within a period of six months, the respondent police will file the final report before the concerned Court, by completing the investigation.

4.Considering the nature of allegations and the offences that has been set out in the First Information Report, the respondent police shall complete the investigation and file the final report within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.This criminal original petition is allowed with the above directions.
