ORDER
This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents to provide suitable police protection for transport the materials by the trucks in the village of mallapuram and R.Pudukkottai, Gujiliamparai Taluk, Dindigul District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2026 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent police submitted that the jurisdictional Block Development Officer had already given permission to afford proper police protection to the petitioner.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either sides and carefully perused the materials available on record.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned Government Advocate, the second respondent police is directed to afford necessary police protection for transport of materials by the Trucks as required by the petitioner on payment of necessary charges in terms of G.O.Ms.No.139, Home (Pol-VIII) Department, dated 04.03.2019.
