Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 12.09.2016 presented to the 2nd respondent with respect to the measurement of the petitioner's land in S.No.270/10A of Kallakudi Village, Lalgudi Taluk, Tiruchirappalli District to an extent of 0.7.50 hectares of land with the help of the 3rd respondent.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate for the respondents.

2. By consent, the Writ Petition itself is taken up for final disposal.

3. According to the petitioner, he filed an application before the second respondent on 12.09.2016 to survey his land and

he has also paid necessary fees for the same. But, so far, no action was taken by the second respondent. Hence, this Writ Petition.

4. In the above circumstances, the second respondent is directed to consider the application of the petitioner, dated 12.09.2016 and pass suitable orders on the same with regard to survey of the land based on the title deed and other revenue documents, after giving notice to all the necessary parties concerned. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No Costs.
